Land of Palaces

Terengganu, dubbed the cradle of Malay civilisation, lies along the coast of the South China Sea. The tropical islands and tranquil villages are drawing tourists to the eastern part of Malaysia.

The government, according to Star online (12 July 2019), is targeting 6.5 million tourist arrivals with a projected revenue of RM6 billio by 2025. Last year the state recorded 4.79 million tourist arrivals.

This is one of the resorts that I will be checking out. It is so hauntingly beautiful.
