Stainless steel food containers

Using plastic food containers is economical and convenient. I use it too all the time. But sometimes the food containers we dump into the trash can may end up as marine litter.

We’ve seen videos and read stories about turtles and seabirds eating these plastic straws and other kinds of plastic wastes. We may not have the intention to indirectly cause their death and some people may not even care. We all have a choice in life. We can choose to be the problem. We can can choose to be the solution.

I’m going to reduce my dependence on plastic by switching to these stainless steel containers (pictured below) from South Korea.

This will keep the seabirds, turtles and other marine life safe. We can also conserve the environment by doing this, and some plastics can have adverse effects on our health so do try to reduce the use of plastic.

These stainless steeel containers are made of POSCO 304 stainless steel and polypropylene lid with internal silicone seal come in various sizes and shapes.
